Your wins and invoices

Once you start winning, two tabs help you keep track: Wins and Invoices.

Wins

Wins lists every sale you've won something in, newest first, grouped by sale. Open a sale to see the individual lots you took and the collection details for them — including, once shipping is arranged, where your parcel is.

Just after a sale closes, the totals on your Wins page may be shown as an estimate. That's a guide to what you'll owe; the figure that counts is your actual invoice, which the auction house raises and emails to you.

Invoices

Invoices shows every invoice you've been sent, newest first, with the outstanding total you still owe across all of them clearly at the top. Open any invoice to see:

  • The lots you won and how the total was reached (hammer price, buyer's premium and sales tax).
  • What's been received and the balance due.
  • How to pay — the online payment options or the house's payment instructions (see Ways to pay).
  • Where your parcel is, if an item is being shipped — tracking shows up right on the invoice once it's on its way.

Paying from here

If online payment is available for the sale, the invoice gives you a way to pay right there. Everything you can do from the emailed payment link, you can also do signed in under Invoices — you don't need the link if you're logged in.

A note on estimates versus invoices

Until the auction house raises your invoice, any figure you see is an estimate to help you plan. Wait for the invoice for the final, exact amount — and if anything on it looks off, contact the house using the details on the invoice and quote your invoice number.
