Creating your account
You need a free account before you can bid. It takes about a minute, and you can browse the whole catalogue without one — the account is for placing bids and tracking what you win.
What you'll enter
- Your details — your full name, email, and a phone number. We use the phone number to reach you about pickup, so make it one that works.
- A mailing address — street, city, state, ZIP and country. This is where anything you have shipped will go, so get it right.
- A password — at least 10 characters. Pick something you don't use elsewhere.
- The terms and privacy policy — tick the box to accept the Auction Mule terms. Each auction also has its own terms of sale, which you'll accept separately when you register for that sale.
You'll also pass a quick "are you human" check on the form. That's it — press Create my account.
After you sign up
We send a confirmation link to the email you gave us. You'll land on a "Check your inbox" screen straight away. Open the email and click the link to confirm your address — you can't bid until your email is confirmed.
The auction house can require a card on file before you place a bid. If that's switched on, you'll be pointed to Payment methods to add one. You never type your card number into Auction Mule — our payment provider holds it securely and hands us only a token (see Your account → Saved payment methods).
Already have an account?
If you've registered before, don't sign up again — just Sign in with the email and password you used the first time. Signing up a second time won't merge with your history.
Once your email is confirmed and any required card is on file, you're clear to start bidding.
