Collecting your items
Collection day is simple if you've paid and booked ahead. Here's what to expect and what to bring.
Pay before you collect
Settle your invoice before collection wherever you can — it makes pickup quick and avoids any hold-up at the counter. You have two routes:
- Pay online first (PayPal or card) from your invoice, then just turn up to collect. See Ways to pay.
- Pay cash at the dock. If you chose I'll pay cash at pickup, your balance is still due — bring the full amount, as that option isn't a payment, it just tells staff to expect you. Your invoice stays open until you pay it in person.
Staff can see whether an invoice is paid or still owing, so have your invoice number handy either way.
What to bring
- Your invoice number (or the invoice open on your phone) so staff can find your lots quickly.
- The right amount if you're paying cash on the day.
- The means to load and move your items. For anything large or heavy, come prepared — a suitable vehicle, straps, and help lifting. If you told us in your booking note that you're bringing a trailer or need a forklift, all the better.
- Your booking. Turn up within the time slot you booked (see Booking a pickup slot).
Know the location and window
Your items are collected at the sale's location, which is printed on your invoice under the collection address. Collection must happen within the sale's removal window — the deadline is shown on your pickup page in the sale's own timezone.
Items left after the removal window can be forfeited, so don't miss it.
If something comes up and you can't make your slot, rebook another time inside the window from your Pickup page, or contact the auction house using the details on your invoice.
